Secuvizz — Your CCTV Wall, On Any TV

Secuvizz is a small Android HDMI stick that plugs into the back of your television and puts up to nine of your security cameras on it. It joins your network, finds your IP cameras and NVRs — 4K cameras included — and shows them in the layout you choose, with your phone as the remote. No HDMI cable run from the recorder upstairs, no baluns or extender boxes, and no cloud account: your video is pulled straight from your cameras to the TV and never leaves your network. Works with Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Reolink and ONVIF-standard cameras, plays back recorded footage from your NVR's hard drive, and puts your saved layout back on screen by itself after a power cut.

The cable you don’t have to run

HDMI was never meant to travel: past about 15 metres you are into active cable, balun pairs or an extender at both ends, and someone still has to get it through the roof cavity from the recorder to the screen people actually watch. Secuvizz removes that run entirely — the stick is at the television, on the network you already have.

Setting it up — three steps, no remote control

1. Plug it into the TV

HDMI port, USB power, done. It joins your network over Wi-Fi.

2. Pair with your phone

The TV shows a QR code and a 6-digit code. Scan it and you are in.

3. Pick the view, send it up

Arrange your cameras, send the layout to the TV, and save it as the default.

Everything from the couch

Finds your cameras for you

Scan from the app and your cameras and recorders come back in a list. Enter the login once and the streams are ready. Anything that stays quiet can be added by IP.

Works with what you already have

Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Reolink and standard ONVIF — including 4K cameras. Mixed brands on one screen is fine.

Recorder channels come through whole

Cameras wired into an NVR own PoE ports sit on a network of their own. Add the recorder and its channels reach the TV like any other.

Up to nine cameras, your layout

Single view, or any grid up to 3x3. Or a hero layout — one big camera with three, five or seven alongside it, or two big with four.

Tap to fullscreen, pinch to zoom

Tap a cell on the phone and that camera fills the TV at its full stream. Pinch and drag to zoom and pan the picture on the TV and read a plate from the couch.

Scrub back through the recording

Pick a camera and a day, drag along a 24-hour timeline, and play it back on the TV straight off the recorder hard drive. Hikvision and Dahua recorders.

And it looks after itself. Every cell is checked for a real picture on screen, not just a live connection. A camera that stops showing anything is restarted on its own, the wall refreshes daily, and the saved layout comes back by itself after a power cut. It starts muted, because a camera wall in a living room should.

What you need

  • Television: Any TV with a spare HDMI port and power nearby.
  • Network: Wi-Fi, on the same network as your cameras.
  • Cameras: IP cameras or an NVR — Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Reolink or ONVIF-standard.
  • Phone: An Android phone for setup and control. Free companion app.
  • Per screen: Up to 9 cameras. One stick per television; your phone runs all of them.
  • Picture: Works with 4K cameras and recorders. Grid cells use each camera second stream so nine stay smooth; fullscreen uses the full stream, up to 1080p on the TV.

Secuvizz questions

Does it need internet, and does my footage go to a cloud?

No to both. There is no Secuvizz cloud and no account to create — the stick pulls video straight from your cameras and puts it on the TV, so everything keeps working if the internet drops. Your video never leaves your network and never passes through the phone app. The stick checks once a day for a software update, and that is the only thing it reaches out for.

Will it work with the cameras I already have?

If they are IP cameras or an NVR from Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview or Reolink, or anything that speaks the ONVIF standard, yes. Mixed brands on the same screen are fine. If you are not sure what you have, call us and we will tell you.

Will it take my 4K cameras?

Yes. Secuvizz connects to 4K cameras and recorders like any other. On the TV, grid cells use each camera second stream — that is what keeps nine of them moving smoothly — and a camera you tap to fullscreen plays its full stream at up to 1080p. On a television at normal viewing distance that is the picture you want; nine 4K streams at once is not.

Do I still need to run a cable between floors?

Only power to the TV, which is already there. No HDMI run, no baluns, no extender boxes at either end. The stick joins over Wi-Fi.

What happens if a camera freezes, or the power goes out?

It fixes itself. Every cell is checked for an actual picture on screen, not just a live connection, and a camera that stops showing anything is restarted on its own. The whole wall refreshes daily. After a power cut the stick comes back up, rejoins the network and puts your saved layout back on screen without anyone touching a phone.
