The Secuvizz Control app ("the app", "Secuvizz Control") is published by HiVizz Cameras (Tomose Systems), Victoria, Australia ("we", "us", "our"). Secuvizz Control is the phone companion for the Secuvizz HDMI viewing stick, used to set up and control the display of IP cameras and NVRs on a television over your local network (LAN).
This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information. It covers the Secuvizz Control mobile app only.
Secuvizz is a local-network product. The app communicates with your Secuvizz stick and your cameras over your own local network. There is no Secuvizz cloud account, and your video stays inside your network.
The app stores the following on your device only, so it can reconnect to your stick between sessions. This information is not transmitted to us:
You can erase all of this at any time by logging out in the app or uninstalling it.
Activating a Secuvizz stick is a one-time step that needs internet on your phone. During activation the app sends the following to our licence server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection so we can validate the licence and bind it to the stick:
After activation the stick stores its signed licence locally and works without any further internet contact. We do not create an account and do not collect your name, email, or address through the app for activation.
The phone app is a remote control. It does not decode, receive, store, or forward camera video. Video streams are pulled by the Secuvizz stick directly from your cameras/NVR over your LAN and shown on the connected television. Camera footage is never sent to the app, to HiVizz/Tomose, or to any third party or cloud.
Secuvizz Control connects over Wi-Fi only. During first-time setup the stick broadcasts its own temporary Wi-Fi hotspot; your phone joins it — the TV displays a QR code so you can join in one tap — and the app then sends your home Wi-Fi details to the stick over that connection.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Licence-activation data is processed only on our own licence server to operate the licence. We may disclose information if required by law.
Information stored on your phone remains until you log out or uninstall the app. A licence-to-stick binding is retained on our licence server for as long as the licence is valid, so the licence keeps working and cannot be copied to other hardware. You may contact us to release or transfer a binding (for example, a genuine hardware replacement).
App-to-stick communication is authenticated with a per-pairing bearer token over your local network. Licence activation uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, and the licence token is cryptographically signed and verified by the stick offline. As with any LAN device, keep your home network secured.
Secuvizz Control is a tool for installers and homeowners and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
You can remove all on-device data by logging out or uninstalling. To ask about, or request deletion of, a licence binding held on our server, contact us using the details below. We handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
